🫙 About Cold Pressed Oil
Cold pressed oil is extracted from seeds using only mechanical pressure — no heat, no chemicals. The process keeps temperatures below 40°C, preserving Vitamin E, Omega fatty acids, plant sterols, antioxidants, and the natural aroma and flavour of the seed.
Refined oil is heated to 200°C+, bleached with chemicals, and deodorised — destroying up to 70% of nutrients. It is clear, odourless, and cheap, but nutritionally much poorer. Read our blog article for the full comparison.
Kachhi Ghani (also spelled Kachi Ghani) literally means "raw extraction" in Hindi. It refers to the traditional stone-crusher press where seeds are ground slowly at low speed, releasing oil without heat generation. This traditional method is FSSAI-recognised and produces the purest form of vegetable oil. Our mustard and groundnut oils are primarily Kachhi Ghani extracted.
Chekku is the South Indian name for wooden press extraction — a large wooden pestle rotated slowly by an ox or motor to crush seeds. Identical in principle to Kachhi Ghani, Chekku is especially common in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Our sesame and coconut oils use the Chekku method.
Sediment and mild cloudiness are signs of genuinely unrefined oil — they indicate natural plant particles, wax crystals, and phospholipids that are removed during refining. They do not affect taste or quality. Gently shake the bottle before use. Similarly, virgin coconut oil turning solid white below 24°C is completely normal and a sign of purity.
Every bottle carries our FSSAI license number: 21523018000971. We can provide lab test reports for any batch on request — just WhatsApp us the batch number on your bottle. Genuine cold pressed oil also has a natural aroma (you can smell the seed), natural colour, and may have slight sediment — all signs of unrefined oil.

We sell cold pressed cooking oils (groundnut, mustard, sesame, coconut, sunflower, soybean), beauty oils (almond, neem, walnut, turmeric), hair oils (Brahmi-Amla blend, curry leaf, castor, amla), and natural handmade soaps. We also offer combo packs at 18–21% savings.
Cooking oils come in 500ml, 1 litre, and 2 litre sizes. Beauty and hair oils come in 100ml and 200ml. Soaps are sold as 100g bars or packs of 3. Combo packs are curated bundles with a fixed size configuration. All sizes are listed on each product page.
Yes. All our food products are manufactured under FSSAI License No. 21523018000971, issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Our manufacturing unit is based in Shahad West, Kalyan, Maharashtra.
Cooking oils have a shelf life of 12 months from the pressing date. Virgin Coconut Oil lasts 18 months. Beauty and hair oils last 12 months. All bottles display the pressing date and best-before date. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. No refrigeration needed.

We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product — or simply aren't satisfied with the quality — contact us within 7 days. We'll arrange a free pickup and issue a full refund to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

Yes — this is one of the greatest advantages of cold pressed oils. Our almond oil is excellent for under-eye dark circles and skin moisturisation. Virgin coconut oil absorbs deeply into skin and hair. Castor oil promotes hair growth. Neem oil fights acne. All beauty oils on our website are suitable for topical use.
Yes. Our cold pressed oils are especially beneficial for diabetics because they contain natural MUFA (monounsaturated fatty acids) that improve insulin sensitivity, and are free from trans fats that worsen insulin resistance.
